Christ Lutheran Church has been rooted in Lakewood since 1958, placed by God in a uniquely diverse community and one of the most unchurched regions of our country. From the beginning, our calling has been clear: to share the good news of Jesus Christ in both word and action so that all people may come to know and follow Him.

One of our closest neighbors is Joint Base Lewis–McChord, and we give thanks for the ministry of military chaplains who serve there. We also believe God has given our congregation a particular calling to connect with and support the military community in our midst.

We are excited to welcome Pastor Jake Schumacher as our new pastor. We look forward to the many ways God will guide, strengthen, and bless our ministry in the days ahead.
