Ministry groups
-
altar guild
The Altar Guild is a dedicated group of members who prepare and care for the chancel and its furnishings, ensuring that our worship space is ready for every service. Their quiet, faithful work supports the heart of our congregation’s spiritual life.
Serving as stewards of the liturgy, the Altar Guild helps create a meaningful and reverent setting for worship—tending to the altar, paraments, communion vessels, candles, and sacred spaces with prayerful attention. Their ministry is an act of devotion, offering hospitality not just to the congregation but to the presence of God in our midst.
-
endowment
The Endowment Committee at Christ Lutheran stewards gifts that strengthen our ministry today and ensure its vitality for the future. Through careful, faithful management of long‑term funds, we support projects and ministries that extend Christ’s love beyond our walls—nurturing worship, education, outreach, and care for our community.
Scholarship information for the 2026/2027 school year will be coming soon.
-
hospitality
We believe hospitality is a sacred practice—a way of living that helps us recognize Christ in one another and respond with compassion. It goes far beyond meals or gatherings. True hospitality creates space for belonging, trust, and genuine connection. When we welcome others with open hearts, we reflect God’s abundant love and participate in the church’s mission to care for and uplift our community.
-

operations
Our Operations Team keeps CLC running smoothly, tending to the everyday care of our building and property. Their work makes it possible for our ministries, groups, and community partners to gather here seven days a week. If you enjoy hands‑on projects or simply want to lend a helping hand, we’d love to have you join the team—just reach out to the church office.
-
worship arts
We believe worship arts are a vital part of our mission—creating space for spiritual growth, creative expression, and meaningful community connection. Whether through music, visual arts, drama, or liturgy, these practices help individuals and congregations deepen their faith journeys. CLC provides resources, encouragement, and guidance to help navigate the complexities of life with grace, purpose, and creativity.
-
Congregational care
We understand that life brings both joys and hardships, and no one should face those difficult moments along. Our congregational care ministries are here to surround members with compassion, prayer, and practical support - offering a steady presence and helping hands whenever challenges arise.
-
spiritual formation
We believe faith grows throughout our entire lives. Lifelong faith formation is a shared journey of learning, reflection, and connection with God and one another. Through personal practices and community life, we cultivate a rhythm of paying attention - to our own hearts, to God's presence, and to the needs of the world around us.
